OUR JOY HAS COME!!!!

Kayden Etta Kouril born 11/22/08 at 9:20 pm.....7lbs, 2 oz and 18 inches long

We are so VERY proud to announce that she is finally here. She takes after her parents by being punctual. She came on her due date.

My water broke on Sat. about 9 am and they proceeded with a long emotional day. To give you a synopsis. I contracted for almost 12 hours. I felt pretty good with the contactions until to doctor broke my water further. That is when the epi was ordered asap. Wow.. Dallas I am sure is still recovering from the hand squeezing. After the epi we found my blood pressure had dropped which sent Kayden into a bit of a stressful time. The pitosin to induce labor had to be stopped until she could level out her heart rate. The heart rate dropped all three times when started the meds to induce labor that I needed to get dilated. So about 8 pm it was decided at 9 i would head down for a c section. That was extremely scary for me, but the best for our baby girl. Dallas, I am so proud to say, stood up and looked as she got pulled out and he did not end up on the floor!!! He saw his baby girl come out. Recovery has been hard but good. Getting the hang of things has been really hard which is slightly an understatement but a challenge we are ready for. She is them most beautiful thing in our lives and thank God every momeny for the healthy baby girl he has blessed us with.. She is perfect!! Attached is some pics, I am sure more will come and I will ad as I go. Thank you all for your love, support and prayers. They mean so much to us and are very much appreciated! Love you all.

Sooner than Later

Well we just got back from the doctor and found out we ARE FINALLY DILATED!!! We are at a 2 and for those who don't remember or know we must get to a 10. That can come sooner or later. However, Sat. is our due date. If she does not come by next Wednesday they will induce me that day. So needless to say our bundle of joy will be here for sure in a week or less. Of Course we are hoping for the less part! My guess is that she will be coming friday. However, we shall see. So stay tuned for the baby news...............

Dr. Appointment

Well we got to see our beautiful baby girl on Wednesday.... She was opening and closing her mouth. Which means she takes after me cause she is either talking non stop or eating and both I do very often.....
I found out that my placenta has moved up so all is good in the world of labor. Everything is great she is looking to be about 3lbs, 10oz so far and about 31 weeks...she is right on track. We are so very excited. The nursery is almost complete and her clothes are all washed and put away. Yup I am nesting like crazy and driving Dallas up a wall. Good thing he is a great and patient man...That is it for now..

Latest Dr. appointment

I went to the doctor last week and found out that she is right on track. He measured my belly and said it was all going well. The doctor told me to start counting movements and if I did not get any in certain time period then I should go to the ER. Thankfully she is a mover and a groover so no need for that ever, I pray. I did get my glucose testing to make sure I do not have gestagional (however you spell it) diabetes. I did get the results today and I don't I am normal...ha ha they don't know me at all do they!
Things are trucking along though. We are officially in our last TRIMESTER!! Things are flying and I am getting bigger by the moment. I will have Dallas take a pic when we get a chance..
She also had her first experience with the State Fair twice! First we hung out with a bunch of friends and had a blast. From 9am to 10:30 at night! Yup that is right....I lasted that long. The second time it was just Dallas and I, we got there at 6:45am...yes am...and left about 2. So Kayden got a lot of the nutrition....ON A STICK!! Not much more that I can think of. We love you all.

Kayden's First Camping Trip

This past weekend (August 15-17). My friends Stephanie, Meredith, Megan, and Allison took off for a fun filled camping trip. Yes folks that does mean that we tented it!! It was VERY relaxing and a lot of fun. I did sleep on the ground with a matress underneath, which did not do really all that well. But I found I did get winded a lot easier when we went hiking. We did some exploring but mainly shared wonderful stories around the campfire and most all enjoyed nature. I will have pics shortly as well.
We have a doctor apt next week so we are looking forward to hearing our little love's heartbeat again. We are very excited, it seems like forever. This is the last monthly apt. It will now go to bi monthly. Kayden is getting bigger and bigger and is thinking she is Michael Phelps. Swimming, diving, backstroking and kicking. The coolest feeling!!

Don't forget that there is an area where you can place comments underneath each blog. We would love to hear from you so please let us know you are reading and sharing in this joy!

Tomorrow.....the state fair!!!!

First Shower

Dallas on Diaper Duty

On August 2nd I had my first shower for Kayden. We had a double shower with my cousin Gina who is expecting in September. So thankfully I was not the only one in the spot light especially when it came to taste testing baby food. Thank you Gina for the support!! The Kouril side of the family threw the shower and it was a great time! Kayden got a lot of wonderful outfits, blankets and sleep gaurd. We had a great lunch and played a lot of great games. I forgot my camera, but as soon as I can get some pics I will put them up. Thank you all who came and gave Kayden some wonderful gifts.!!

Doc appointment

Well,
we just saw the doctor and he got a letter from the radiologist that looks at our Ultrasound pics. Kayden is developing well they said and that I have a low-lying placenta. He does not seem concern. He says more than likely it will naturally move up, but we are going to have a 30 week ultrasound to be sure. If it does not go up I may have to have an c section, but he is confidnet it will move.
On another not Kayden is a movin and a groovin. She is kicking and shifting. We are having a blast feeling her inside. Dallas has not yet been able to feel her, but doc says in a few weeks he will. I did see her kick my belly the other night, so Dallas grabbed the pint of ice cream and started watching my belly like he was watching a moving. Unfortunalty she kicked, but he was looking away when she did. Funny they dont kick on command.....HMM I still don't do that. She does kick when I am in the middle of a carpet presentation.
We go back to the doc in a month. So pray for smooth sailing from there!!
Love and Blessings

TA DA!!! And the baby is.......

Hello all!!
Wow. 2 times this week. Well we have finally big news!!!! We found out that our beautiful bundle of joy is a GIRL!! We are overjoyed, as we would be if it were a boy. However, Dallas and I had only agreed on a girl name and not a boy so that take A LOT of stress off of us for now......
We were going to hold the name silent until she was born, however Dallas was Very and I mean VERY anxious to tell so here is goes.

KAYDEN ETTA KOURIL
Kayden means spirited and we just loved it!!And Etta is Dallas's Grandmother on his mothers side. We are so excited to FINALLY call her by name. We love it! I have uploaded some pics (finally, if it works) so you all can see
There is a 10 week ultrasound, 20 week Ultra sound, my side shot (not my good side), Mustang our jealous puppy, a new outfit I had to buy when we found out and the crib/nursery beginnings.

Dr. Check UP

Well I had a Doctor appt. last Wednesday and all is well. The check lasts all of 20 minutes max., but I get to hear the little Turkey's heartbeat. It was beating at about 160, which is very healthy says the doc. We also set up the time to see our baby again and find out what sex it is. We are very VERY excited. So stay tuned, I will try and post as soon as I know and tell the family. I will also be upload pics....finally! I am waiting till we get those picutres too. Otherwise it may never get done. Ya know.. I am getting bigger by the day it seems and I am in Maternity officially cause nothing else fits.
Dallas and Dad Kouril got the nursery painted so me and my nesting is finally relaxing a bit. The nursery is looking great and I will take a picture of the begining stages too for those of you far away. We are doing a Baby Lodge, Northwoods theme for the room and momma King is making the quilt and it is so darn cute!!!! What else... not a whole lot until I can get to the ultrasound on Thursday at 10:30 where I need a full bladder....that should be fun!! Full bladder with a device being pushed on my belly...what fun, but it will all be worth it...
As I have been saying all along... if it has my genes it will be getting its picutre saying..."HELLO MAMA AND DADA LOOK AT ME...WHOOHOOO!, if it has Dallas's it will say, "shhhh I am sleeping and don't look at me." So we are hoping for the first so we can see...Okay that is it for now, I must go work now. Look back before weeks end for the relveal of the little one....I hope.
Love Stacy and Dallas......and baby

Getting the hang of this

Cousin Gina in Missouri has started a blog a while back about her family and impending new baby. So I figured that I should start that as well so I can let all know how we are doing and the baby is doing so here it goes.
Dallas and are expecting a little one November 22nd!!! We are having a little Talking Turkey!!! and crying and pooping.. And we are more than overjoyed. Our parents are totally over the moon with this little one. We are about 15 weeks along and cannot wait for another 5 to find out what sex it will be.
The nursery is slowing getting worked on and we have gotten out crib and dresser already (a deal we could not pass up). We are doing a baby northwoods theme for the nursery since that is what we both love.
I have been finally feeling great! Great energy and finally a feeling of hunger without the sickness. I am still traveling a lot and Dallas is still working alot but hopefully that will slow down when the baby comes.
Well I will try to post some pics of the ultrasound and maybe of the belly (if I am brave) to keep those far away at the growing me.... We love you all and thank you all for your support.
