Getting Used to the Changes

A little Cuddle with Auntie Kryssa

Yup. No need for comment. Can't get any more adorable (of course I am biased 8) )

It has been 6 weeks since we have been blessed by Kayden. She is a wonderful baby! She almost sleeps through the night and barely cries. We are getting used to the different cries and the many needs of a baby. And loving every moment.

Today is the first day of daycare and Mommy was a bit sad, but did good. I only checked in once! I am proud.

The holidays were absolutely wonderful. Kayden had her first slumber party at Grandma and Grandpa Kourils. We had a ton of fun on her first Christmas. One Christmas day we went to Grandma and Grandpa Kings and had a major blessing. Kayden smiled for the first time and it was not gas!! I got her to smile over and over again! It was so wonderful!

Since she smiles occasionally but still working on the often thing.

Mustang is loving having her around. He is very over protective but loving toward her. He has adjusted well except when he is not allowed in the nursery which is the one room he can go in.

New Years Eve was great! Her first party and she did not make it to midnight. Her and her daddy was basically asleep by midnight.

Blessings to all the family on a magnificent New Year!

OUR JOY HAS COME!!!!

Kayden Etta Kouril born 11/22/08 at 9:20 pm.....7lbs, 2 oz and 18 inches long

We are so VERY proud to announce that she is finally here. She takes after her parents by being punctual. She came on her due date.

My water broke on Sat. about 9 am and they proceeded with a long emotional day. To give you a synopsis. I contracted for almost 12 hours. I felt pretty good with the contactions until to doctor broke my water further. That is when the epi was ordered asap. Wow.. Dallas I am sure is still recovering from the hand squeezing. After the epi we found my blood pressure had dropped which sent Kayden into a bit of a stressful time. The pitosin to induce labor had to be stopped until she could level out her heart rate. The heart rate dropped all three times when started the meds to induce labor that I needed to get dilated. So about 8 pm it was decided at 9 i would head down for a c section. That was extremely scary for me, but the best for our baby girl. Dallas, I am so proud to say, stood up and looked as she got pulled out and he did not end up on the floor!!! He saw his baby girl come out. Recovery has been hard but good. Getting the hang of things has been really hard which is slightly an understatement but a challenge we are ready for. She is them most beautiful thing in our lives and thank God every momeny for the healthy baby girl he has blessed us with.. She is perfect!! Attached is some pics, I am sure more will come and I will ad as I go. Thank you all for your love, support and prayers. They mean so much to us and are very much appreciated! Love you all.

Sooner than Later

Well we just got back from the doctor and found out we ARE FINALLY DILATED!!! We are at a 2 and for those who don't remember or know we must get to a 10. That can come sooner or later. However, Sat. is our due date. If she does not come by next Wednesday they will induce me that day. So needless to say our bundle of joy will be here for sure in a week or less. Of Course we are hoping for the less part! My guess is that she will be coming friday. However, we shall see. So stay tuned for the baby news...............

We did have a doc appt this week and we are not dilated yet, however she has dropped and the doctor said that everything is in position and that he could feel her head...how weird is that! So we hope to have some wonderful new for you all sooner than later. Dallas and I cannot wait to introduce our beautiful baby girl to all the friends and family that have supported us so much! So that is really all for now. Tune in soon for the good no....great news!!!
